POLITICAL PARTIES ALWAYS QUALIFY US TO WORLD CUPS NOT THE FA – ABBEY POBEE

Veteran football administrator and founder of Neoplan Stars, has descended heavily on all those who believe ex-President of the GFA who also occupied the 2^nd vice chairmanship post at CAF, Lawyer Kwesi Nyantakyi sent Ghana to 2006, 2010 and 2014 World Cup tourneys in Germany, South Africa, and Brazil respectively with his visionary policies and toil. He has branded all those hailing Nyantakyi for that course  as shallow minded people and ‘illiterates in football’.

In an interview with Akim Swedru based radio station, Bosome 89.1FM, the ‘true servant’ disclosed that it took the then President of Ghana John Agyekum Kuffuor’s decision to seek sponsorship from Tarkwa-Damang Goldfields to pay each player a record sum of $8,000.00 in bonuses to ginger the Black Stars to qualify for the World Cup competition in 2006 after which the late President Professor John Evans Atta Mills also gave the players $10,000.00 bonuses from the sponsorship he had from GNPC which qualified us to undoubtedly the best ever competition in the  history of World football where a ‘fearsome’ squad was paraded and ensured that  qualifying the Stars into the quarter-finals in South Africa was not a big task at all and finally H.E John Dramani Mahama contributed with a huge sum of money before the Stars qualified  for our last World Cup and of course one of the competition where the Black Stars exhibited one of the most shambolic performances which earned Ghana the nod to become the talk of the world in a negative way when heated monetary arguments and loads of altercations ruined our performances and then forced  H.E John Dramani Mahama President of the country to set up a committee to probe into the reasons that fuelled all those unmannered acts.

Mr. Pobee emphasized that the Nyantakyi led administration was a ‘Selfish entity’ and for that matter they never contributed their quota to Black Stars’ World Cup qualifications but rather the politicians did send us to all our World Cups.

“Osei  Palmer publicly said that Black Stars could not qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia because Akuffo Addo’s government refused to pay bribe, so that clearly tells you that the Politicians always qualify us to World Cups and not any ‘Bogus’ FA” he emphasized.

Mr. Pobee concluded by saying that no ‘Christ’ can save Ghana football from the ditch we find ourselves in, whiles the ‘cockroaches’ and those ‘Nyantakyi boys’ are still at the helm of affairs of football in Ghana.
