ALLEGED: POLICE COMMANDER FIGURED IN GHS 3K BRIBERY ALLEGATIONS

 Investigation gathered suggest that, the current Bibiani police commander, allegedly took GHC 3,000 bribe from Bibiani Hwenampori Ankobea Family last Friday to protect them to unlawfully install the new Hwenampori chief.

The Bibiani Police crime officer’s name has also popped up in the bribery allegations.
It could be recorded that the Ankobea Royal family of Hwenampori, a Community of Bibiani Municipal last Sunday 9th August, 2020 unlawfully installed the new chief Mr. Kwabena Okrah purported (Odikro) in the community via the guardians of the Bibiani police irrespective of an existing chief……

During interrogation with one of the sub-chief who is the *Head Of Youth* Mr. Kwasi Nti popularly known as Kwaantie (Bibiani Hwenampori Mmrantehene) he revealed that, the family paid the Commander and Crime officer GHS 3,000 for their protection in the installation of the new Hwenampori Odikro.

The police commander upon receiving the cash then gave them the ultimatum to install the new Odikro since their safety was guaranteed.
